These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of econdiagrams.com and the related services (the "Service") operated by EconDaddy.com Ltd. ("we", "us", "our"). By creating an account or using the Service you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. The Service
EconDiagrams provides an online tool for creating, editing, and exporting interactive Economics diagrams tailored to the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme (IB DP) Economics syllabus. The Service includes a web application, diagram templates, calculations, and related features made available from time to time.
We may add, change, or remove features at any time. We will give reasonable notice of material changes that negatively affect paying subscribers.
3. Accounts & Eligibility
- You must provide a valid email address and verify it via one-time passcode.
- You must be at least 16 years old, or have parental/guardian consent if younger.
- You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for all activity under your account.
- One person, one account. You may not share an account with others.
- We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.
4. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use the Service for any unlawful, fraudulent, or abusive purpose
- Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or circumvent rate limits or access controls
- Upload malicious content, malware, or content that infringes the rights of others
- Use the Service to harass, defame, or harm other users
- Resell, redistribute, or sublicense the Service or any part of it without written permission
- Impersonate another person or misrepresent your affiliation with any entity
We reserve the right to remove content, suspend access, or terminate accounts that breach this clause, with or without prior notice.
5. Free & Pro Plans
The Service is offered on two plans:
- Free — 1 whiteboard, up to 3 diagrams per whiteboard, 1 collection. No card required.
- Pro — €5 per month (incl. applicable VAT). 50 whiteboards, unlimited diagrams per whiteboard, 50 collections, priority support.
Prices are displayed in EUR. VAT is added at checkout where applicable. We may change prices with at least 30 days' notice to existing subscribers; price changes do not affect subscription periods already paid.
6. Billing, Renewal & Cancellation
- Pro subscriptions are billed monthly in advance via Stripe.
- Your subscription renews automatically until you cancel.
- You may cancel at any time from your account settings or by contacting support. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period — you retain Pro access until then.
- We do not provide pro-rated refunds for partial months.
- If a payment fails, we may suspend Pro features until payment is successfully processed.
7. Right of Withdrawal (EU Consumers)
Under Directive 2011/83/EU, EU consumers have a 14-day right of withdrawal from distance contracts. By subscribing to Pro and accessing the Pro features immediately, you expressly request that the Service begins before the 14-day period expires and acknowledge that you lose your right of withdrawal once the Service has been fully provided (Art. 16(m)). For any month already started, no refund is due; cancellation takes effect at the end of the billing period.
8. Your Content
You retain full ownership of the whiteboards, diagrams, and other content you create on the Service ("User Content"). You grant us a limited, non-exclusive licence to store, process, and display your User Content solely for the purpose of operating the Service for you.
You are responsible for your User Content and warrant that it does not infringe any third-party rights. We may remove User Content that violates these Terms or applicable law.
9. Our Intellectual Property
The Service itself — including the diagram templates, calculation engines, user interface, code, branding, and all related intellectual property — is owned by EconDaddy.com Ltd. or our licensors. You are granted a limited, revocable, non-transferable licence to use the Service for personal, educational, or classroom purposes in accordance with these Terms.
You may export diagrams you create and use them in your own work (commentaries, presentations, teaching materials). You may not redistribute our templates or calculation logic as a standalone product or competing service.
10. Availability & Support
We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. The Service is provided "as available". We may perform maintenance, updates, or impose downtime with reasonable notice where feasible.
Pro subscribers receive priority email support at support@econdiagrams.com. Free users may contact the same address for critical issues.
11. Disclaimers
The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
The Service is an educational tool. It is not a substitute for qualified teaching, nor do we guarantee any particular grade, exam result, or academic outcome. IB assessment is governed solely by the International Baccalaureate Organization.
12. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total aggregate liability to you for any claim arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the event giving rise to the claim, or €100, whichever is greater.
We are not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages (including lost profits, lost data, or loss of goodwill), even if advised of the possibility of such damages.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded under mandatory consumer protection law, including liability for death, personal injury caused by negligence, or fraud.
13. Termination
You may delete your account at any time from settings. We may terminate or suspend your account immediately if you breach these Terms, fail to pay, or if required by law. On termination, your right to use the Service ends. Data deletion follows our Privacy Policy.
14. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be announced via email and/or a prominent notice on the Service at least 14 days before taking effect. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
15. Governing Law & Jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by the laws of Hungary. Disputes shall be settled by the competent Hungarian courts, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer protection rights you may have in your country of residence within the EU.
EU consumers can also use the European Commission's Online Dispute Resolution platform: ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.
